The challenge with this mural was working in a very confined space and creating artwork that would soar, even to those up close in the baptismal font. The entire landscape bends away and up from the viewer when they either stand at the ledge or go into the water.
From inside the church there is a cut-out window in front of the mural so that the scene changes depending on where you sit inside the building. You see more of one portion of the mural than the other from the congregation's view. (Click on any image to view enlarged pictures.)
